SWEET 16 BIRTHDAY PARTY

Planning a Sweet 16 Birthday Party can be challenging and exciting at the same time. Sixteen is the age of mixed emotions and new discoveries, hence choosing a theme for this party was one of the most difficult thing to do. Who knows, if it will be approved by a picky but at the same time, so much loved teen? Nevertheless, our story had to have a happy ending and our birthday girl Eliza was totally blown away with the party styling prepared by Signature Party Styling for her special day! Here’s how we did it.

We were lucky beacuse the answer to our theme struggle was hidden in the name of the celebration. Have you already guessed? That’s right, the theme of Sweet Sixteen Party was all about sweets. Our girl is known to have a sweet tooth, so it truly suited her personality.

Colour Scheme

More than sweets, a girl of this age can only like fashion. We combined the theme of sweets with the theme of fashion by picking the most trendy colours of the season -- white, mint green, peach and rose gold. One other reason for the chosen palette was the fact that this birthday was celebrated during spring time, therefore, we liked to keep in tune with the whole atmosphere of spring by using soft and bright pastel colours.

Style

The highlight of this design was the chosen trendy mixture of colours combined with flower decoration to underline Eliza’s femininity, style and delicacy, as well as transmitting the energy of spring.

Special Elements of Styling

Balloons:

We can’t get tired of talking about those amazing Custom-coloured Organic Balloon Garland Waves that will turn any party into a true celebration. You can almost feel the fragrance of blooming peach trees by looking at this peach/mint garland, enriched with the trendy rose gold orbs and confetti that will catch your attention for the whole evening.

Signage:

It can be that simple. Just a name written in beautiful, golden letters on the wall but it makes such a difference.

Table Presentation:

To decorate the table we have chosen luxe golden tableware, golden candle holders and fashionable golden charger plates. Golden is the colour of richness and chic, unless… you overuse it, so, not to go over the board, the rest of the tableware we used was in neutral tones. To keep it sophisticated, we used high quality, luxurious porcelain plates from Villeroy& Boch and Italian glasses.

Cake, Sweets and Fashion

We used fashionable and luxurious, glossy white acrylic plinths for the presentation of the desserts.

Neat and chic elements like glossy plinths are the ones that add sophistication and make the main party elements such as delicious Red Velvet birthday cake decorated with fresh flowers, buttercream cupcakes and macaroni tower to stand out.
